How villa rental works

Villahane connects guests directly with the owners of private-pool villas in Turkey. What makes us different is simple: our team visits every villa before it goes live, takes the photographs ourselves, and verifies the claims that matter — whether the plot is genuinely secluded, whether the pool can actually be heated, how far the sea really is.

1. Search and filter

Start with a region, dates and the number of guests, then narrow down with villa-specific filters: secluded plot, heated pool, distance to the sea in metres, child-friendly pool, pets allowed. Every price you see already includes the seasonal and weekend rate for the dates you picked.

2. Availability and total price

The calendar on each villa page shows the nightly price for every date, with taken dates greyed out. Once you select your range, the booking card breaks the total down line by line: accommodation, weekly discount, cleaning fee, service fee. Taxes are included — nothing is added later.

3. Deposit and balance

You pay 30% of the total as a deposit when you book.
The balance is due seven days before check-in. We email you a payment link three days before that.
We do not store card details, so you make the balance payment yourself.
A refundable security deposit is held separately and returned after check-out.

4. Instant book or request

Villas marked "Instant book" are confirmed the moment your deposit clears. Others go to the host as a request; you will hear back within 24 hours, and if the host cannot confirm, your deposit is refunded in full.

5. Check-in

Three days before arrival we send the address, directions and the host's phone number. Check-in is from 16:00 and check-out by 10:00 unless the villa page says otherwise. The host meets you at the villa and hands over the keys.

Paying from abroad

Prices are in Turkish lira (TRY) and charged in TRY. Your bank will convert at its own rate on the day, so the amount in your home currency may differ slightly from any converter you use beforehand. Payment is handled by iyzico, a licensed Turkish payment institution; card details never reach our servers.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need to speak Turkish?

No. Booking, payment and all our emails are in English. Hosts vary — some speak English well, others less so. If language matters for your stay, mention it in the note to the host when booking and we will help.

Can I pay the full amount upfront?

The system charges 30% at booking by default. If you would rather pay in full, email us after booking and we will arrange it.

Is a car necessary?

In most coastal regions, yes. Villa access roads are often steep and taxis are limited outside town centres. The exceptions are Göcek and Akyaka, where village-centre villas are genuinely walkable. Each region page says which applies.

What if the villa is not as described?

Contact us on the day. Because we photograph and verify each villa ourselves, discrepancies are rare — but when they happen we deal with them directly rather than passing you to the host.
