Deposit guarantee

The most common worry when booking a villa in another country is simple: you send money to strangers months in advance. Here is exactly what happens to it.

Who you pay

You pay Villahane, not the host. Payment is processed by iyzico, a payment institution licensed by the Central Bank of Türkiye. Card details are entered into iyzico's form and never touch our servers; 3D Secure verification happens on their side.

When the host is paid

The host is paid one day after your check-in — not when you book. This matters: if the villa is not as described, or the host cannot let you in, the money has not left our side yet and we can refund you directly instead of chasing it back.

The security deposit

The refundable security deposit is separate from the rental price. It covers damage beyond normal use. It is returned after check-out once the villa has been checked, usually within a few days. If a deduction is proposed, you get an itemised explanation with photographs, not a flat claim.

What we verify before listing

• The villa physically exists and matches its photographs — our own photographs.
• The owner has the right to rent it out.
• Claimed features are real: pool heating actually works, the plot is genuinely enclosed, the distance to the sea is measured rather than estimated.

If something goes wrong

Contact us the same day, from the villa. We keep records of every booking, payment and message, and we act on them. Because we hold the money until after check-in, we are able to resolve problems rather than mediate them.
